When I paint, I hear music.
When I paint, I feel color.
When I paint, I see joy.
Painting takes me to a place filled with amazing silence--a silence that is loud in color and intense beauty. Everything around me fades away leaving me with a brush, a canvas and an overwhelming peacefulness. I am able to listen to my intuitive self and really hear the colors. I paint more from what feels right rather than what looks right letting the story unfold through color and emotion. I want the person experiencing my art to touch upon raw emotion, be it happiness, sadness or even fear...

It healed not only an injured brain, but also an injured spirit and has brought me more joy than I can put in words.
